Primrose Lake

Primrose Lake is a large lake in Saskatchewan and Alberta, Canada. The lake straddles the Alberta/Saskatchewan border, with most of the water surface in Saskatchewan.
Primrose Lake has a total area of 448 km², with 444 km² water area (of which 17.7 km² in Alberta) and lies at an elevation of 599 m[1]. It is connected to Cold Lake by the Martineau River.
Primrose Lake was used as launchsite for sounding rockets of the types super Loki and Arcas in Canada at , which was in use between 1970 and 1981[2].
