From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Priyatu Mandal, या हिन्दी में प्रियतु मन्डल (born 11 March 1980), is a rare specimen found in parts of India. At times he is sighted in Bangalore, at times in New Delhi, and at times in what is claimed as his hometown, Kolkata. He is an adult male Homo sapiens with Asian features, with a complexion dark enough to get lost in the dark. He has the intelligence of a cretin, or a young chimpanzee, but somehow he has earned a few degrees here and there. It is a great honour for Wikipedia to let the specimen speak for himself. Heretofore, the aforesaid Priyatu Mandal shall speak for himself in first person.

[edit] So, what do I do?
For long I thought that I would use the designation poet, writer and philosopher in my signature files. May be I shall make a start with Wiki. I do write poetry. I do write other things - in fact, my boss makes me write quite a few things about which I least know of. And I love philosophising. So, there you are!
[edit] My websites
I started webdesigning pretty early, even when there was not much I knew of. Not that I have changed that status by any substantive degree. However, there has always been a keen interest in writing and making websites. There came a time when I learned the rudiments of design, uploading and registering. Since then, I started websites at the drop of a hat, whenever some mad inspiration hit me. Needless to say, many of them lie along the dusty cyber way, uncared and uncatered. I am trying to list my websites, in chronological order (so far I can remember):

- Priyatu's World, my personal website made in 2000.
- Ashpalace, my website on the the most beautiful woman on earth. Later I uploaded a photogallery called AshPhotos.
- IAS Centre is my little attempt at shedding some more light on Civil Services Exam, India. The website attempts to provide information on various aspects of the exam.
- Iconoclast, my website on ideas and opinions.
- Priyatu's Blog, probably another half-hearted attempt at blogging. Somehow, personal blogging goes against my instincts. After all, why would somone be interested in my personal life and its mundane details when I am not some Shah Rukh Khan? Haughty presumption, it must be on part of bloggers, to think their life story is the autobiography of Malcolm X!
- Pygmalion, titled in search of a muse : in search of love. I try to explain this site as an experiment in poesy. Here I try to give vent to my new inspiration in Hindi and Urdu, and try to arrive at some fusion of sorts between a Indian and local genre and a Western cultural experience.
