Prospex

Prospex is a community based charity in Islington, London.
It works to improve the lives of young people in the Caledonian Road area of North King's Cross. Their aim is to meet the needs of young people regardless of their situation. They build relationships with young people and help them in practical ways to better themselves.
Prospex helps young people in a number of ways. 'Detached' work involves youth workers going into the community and meeting young people to find out ways they can help. They run courses for young people which look at self-esteem, communication, direction, team-work, behaviour, challenges goals and actions. They also support the parents of the young people and more recently provide consultancy and training for other organisations.
Prospex's patrons are Dr Tanya Byron and Richard Chartres, Bishop of London.
