[edit] Title of Entry
The entry should be remnamed "Conservative Leadership Conventions" because the name "Progressive Conservative" doesn't represent the current or original name of the party.
- I disagree. The PC Party was the legal continuation of the Conservative Party (historical). The PC Party disbanded when the new Conservative Party was formed. The new CPC is not the legal continuation of the PC Party. There should, therefore, be a new summary article called "Conservative leadership elections" that covers leadership elections held by the new CPC, and the existing "PC leadership conventions" article should not include the results of the new CPC leadership election, but have only a link to it. "PC leadership conventions" reflects the name of the party during most of the time that it held leadership convnetions. Keep in mind that before 1943, the party went through numerous name changes -- Liberal-Conservative, Unionist, National Liberal-Conservative, Conservative. Ground Zero 15:26, 11 August 2005 (UTC)
