Talk:Protocols of the Elders of Zion
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I strongly object to linking the Protocols to this article. Wikipedia must not be linked directly to fraudulent material - particularly to such material that is an offense to every meaning of human intelligence and is the reason for so much bloodshed. --Uriyan
If you don't want to read it, you don't have to follow the link. Propaganda documents are important part of history, and studying primary sources is fundamental part of studying history. If someone wanted to study anti-semitism or historical propaganda techniques Wikipedia should help him.
You may add disclaimer to link if you want. --Taw
- I find the link offensive as a Jew. Linking to a site is always a sign of some encouragement, and I don't think we are helping anyone but the devil in this case. I strongly urge whoever will read those lines to delete the link. Whoever reads this, I ask you to delete the link - the etiquette forbids me to do it myself. --Uriyan

- That's unfortunate, but in history many groups were being unfairly offended by propaganda. But that's part of history and we must not censor it. --Taw

- as a Jew, I see one value to providing the link. On occasion, anti-semites resurrect accusations/slanders from the Protocals but present them as new and original. One part of debunking such slanders is to demonstrate that they are not new but come from a proven fraud. I admit, the article (and the link) would be stronger if it provided some examples (which I can't do) -- SR
