It's not being deleted because it's a copyvio. It's being deleted because it doesn't meet WP:MUSIC and it's considered an advert? Why? Well. She hasn't released her debut album yet nor is she notable enough (yet) for WP:MUSIC purposes. So creating her article is being seen as a way of promoting her and that just isn't allowed. - Btw, please don't put "meta" comments (such as "This is a NEW article") on the article itself. That's what the talk page is for. I am going to change the speedy tag to a prod tag. That gives others a chance to look at the article and decide whether it fits WP:MUSIC or not. Also, "reposting" means that the article has been deleted in the past (it's been deleted twie in the last few hours) and a user is trying to post the same article again. - This is the first time I've ever used Wikipedia, and I have to say, it's REALLY confusing. Please bear with me, because I'm trying really hard to understand and do this right.

- Yes that's basically what I am saying. And btw, generally, when we add comments on our talk pages, we just add them to what's already there. We don't blank out past comments. It just makes things much easier to follow. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 07:18, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Okay!! Whew........ I really appreciate it. This is my first time using Wikipedia, and I think it's incredible. Just a little confusing at first. When will I know if the article was accepted?
- Well. :) The thing is. It's not that it's being "accepted". Wikipedia doesn't work that way. Anyone can submit an article. There is no approval process. It's more that there's a concern that the subject isn't notable and some feel like the article doesn't belong on the site. Anyway. Well, I sure hope you guys will work with me here. I read the notability guidelines, and Christine does fit them. She has only begun to rise to fame in the last year, and she is an independent artist, so her accomplishments are very notable. She's had a 30 minute feature all about her on MuchMusic, as well as a special feature on MTV, her music is in rotation at Clear Channel's KISS FM, and she's signed with MTV now. I really think she belongs in Wikipedia.
