Pudhiya Geethai is a Tamil film starring Vijay, Meera Jasmine and Amisha Patel. It tells the tale of a cancer sufferer. Despite the huge star cast it received a disastrous welcome at the box-office. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Sarathy(Vijay) shines in every facet of life. The astrologer who predicted he will be perfect and his life will end when he is 27. Without knowing this, Sarathy enjoys his life. Suji(Meera Jasmine) is his close friend while Jo(Amisha Patel), a photojournalist, adores and loves him. The incidents that follow with the accord to the astrologer's prediction follows the rest of the story.The power of positive thinking and the power of spoken word has been dramatically portrayed by Sarathy's character.By far one of the best efforts to convey the success mantra in commerical cinema.Hats off to Ilaya Thalapathy !
