Puget Gardens Park
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Puget Gardens Park is a small park along Puget Creek in the north end of Tacoma, Washington. It is primarily located within Old Woman's Gulch, a ravine surrounded by residential areas. Puget Gardens Park connects with Puget Park, located above ground. Although the area does not have any actual gardens, it is well-known for its beautiful natural setting and local art, as well as a path that extends to Point Defiance Park. The park is located just north of the Proctor District. The community is working to restore the park's forest by removing non-native plants, and to restore the creek so that it can sustain salmon and sea-run cutthroat trout.
