Puthucode is a small village in Palakkad district of Kerala state, south India. and is a panchayat under Alathur Taluk in Palakkad district. It has a newly built mosque in the centre of streets. The celebrations during the traditional [[Nercha) season are famous. The Navarathi season is festival of the hindus. The unique feature about puthucode is its secularistic atmosphere. Puthucode village was once dominated entirely by the brahmins and the Theruvu is entirely dominated by the Muslim population and there is only one small road dividing these two places and any religious rivalry is still unheard of in this small village.
