Zane Grey

Zane Grey (ur. 31 stycznia 1872 w Zanesville w stanie Ohio, zm. 23 października 1939 w Altadena w stanie Kalifornia), pisarz amerykański, autor poczytnych powieści, z których większość także w przeróbce filmowej, niektóre zostały przetłumaczone na język polski. Jest autorem licznych westernów np. Jeźdźcy purpurowego stepu (1912). Przyczynił się do stworzenia nowego gatunku literackiego – westernu. Napisał przeszło 80 książek o tematyce Dzikiego Zachodu.
