Banda sueca de power metal melódico,formada em 1999 por Nicklas Magnusson e Jonas Heidgert,e posteriormente por Christer Pedersen.
Com a gravação de uma demo,chamada Storming across Heaven,o Dragonland obteve grande sucesso através do site www.mp3.com, o qual era,na época,o principal site de divulgação de bandas lado B.
Em seu dois primeiros álbuns,The Battle of the Ivory Plains e Holy War,o comando das baquetas estava nas mãos de Jonas Heidgert,o vocalista.
A partir do terceiro álbum,procuraram através de um concurso alguém para assumir o comando das baquetas,pois Jonas já não dava mais conta,formando-se assim a atual formação do Dragonland,que conta com:
