Quaker Consortium
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Quaker Consortium is an arrangement between three liberal arts colleges and one research university in the greater Philadelphia area that allows for their students to enroll in courses at the other schools of the Consortium. The participating schools are Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College, Swarthmore College, and the University of Pennsylvania.
The three liberal arts colleges (LACs) facilitate transportation between their respective campuses with free shuttle services. No such service is offered between the liberal arts colleges and Penn. Students wishing to get to Penn must drive or take the SEPTA R5 train to Philadelphia. Some programs at the Tri-Co LACs will subsidize SEPTA fares.
