Quanah Crossland Stamps

Quanah Crossland Stamps (born Quanah LeeAnn Crossland on June 11, 1963) is the US Commissioner of the Administration for Native Americans (ANA), a program office within the Department of Health and Human Services. Stamps, a Republican and member of the Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the Senate on November 14, 2002. Stamps chairs the Department of Health and Human Services Intradepartmental Council on Native American Affairs (ICNAA) and manages a $45 million budget that promotes social and economic development within Native American communities in the United States .
