Queen's Park, Invercargill

Queen's Park is a tourist attraction in Invercargill and was part of the original planning when Invercargill was founded in 1856. The park is 200 acres. It is located just north of the city centre. The park has an 18-hole Golf Course, a Botanical garden, an aviary, sports grounds. It is also the home to the Southland Museum and Art Gallery and a large observatory. Its hosting the first annual Twenty20 Cricket Tournament.
