Talk:Quotes relating to rape
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is not an encyclopedic article. Can it become one? I don't think so. --euyyn 21:43, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Deletion?
I suggest this article be nominated for deletion. Anyone else agree? Lue3378 17:39, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
Shouldn't this be at Wikiquote?--CallmeNiel 20:59, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Moving to wikiquote
Obviously, this should be at wikipquote and not in wikipedia, as it is a collection of quotations on a topic, not an encylopedia article. My question is:
Is there some sort of admin or sysop feature to move the whole page over to wikiquote and delete this, while retaining edit history and other things, or should we just move the page over then try to get it speedily deleted?

I assumed that the bureaucrats would deal with it as I put the tag on. It became listed in a category called "Move to Wikiquote". The moving procedure is a bit fuzzy to me, but it involves pasting the article to http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Transwiki:rape (or perhaps straight to http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/rape ), as well as listing it in the "export-list" here and the "import-list" here, and then list the original for deletion. AND copy the page history of the old page to the talk page of the transwikied page.
Ergo: forget about it. --CAD6DEE2E8DAD95A (hello!) 09:53, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
This page was a part of the rape article. Someone dispersed that page into a dozen peices unfortunately. Can you put it back onto the rape article page?
