Rúnar Kristinsson

Rúnar Kristinsson (born September 5, 1969 in Reykjavík) is an Icelandic footballer playing midfield.
He started his career in the small club Leiknir before moving on to KR Reykjavík, a large club in Iceland. His performances attracted foreign clubs, and soon he was transferred to Örgryte IS in Sweden. Halfway in the 1997 season, he moved across the border to Lillestrøm SK of Norway. Kristinsson was a success there, thus in 2000, he moved to K.S.C. Lokeren in Belgium.
Kristinsson has been capped a record 106 times for Iceland.
Recently there have been rumours linking him to KR Reykjavík but Rúnar himself says that he is not going to decide anything until April[1]
