R.E.B.E.L.S.

R.E.B.E.L.S. '94, R.E.B.E.L.S. '95 and finally R.E.B.E.L.S. '96 is a comic-book series published by DC Comics from 1994 to 1996 and created by Tennessee Peyer.
It featured a team of ex-lawmen on the run from their former peace-keeping organization. It was led by the ruthless Vril Dox and included but was not limited to, Strata, Stealth and Lobo. An alien telepath, who went by the name -of- 'Telepath' was unwillingly part of the team.
Vril Dox's insane, super-smart toddler son had taken over Dox's orginization and turning it into a ruthless, brainwashing dictatorship.
A main feature of the series was a semi-sentient ship, run off literal brain power. There was also the pursuit by Strata's husband, a visit to earth, a battle with the creators of the brain-ship and a confrontation with Neron.
Green Lantern, Kyle Rayner, guest-starred in the first issue and was manipulated into killing some of the group's pursuers.
