Racial comedy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Racial comedy refers to comedy that purports to identify humorous differences between the various races of humans.
It is a source of controversy, since racial comedy can be used to marginalise and exploit minority races. In earlier times, racial comedy was used to entrench racist policies such as American slavery and the White Australia policy, as well as to rally citizens to the war effort in World War II.
