Radio Slovakia International (Slovak: Slovenský Rozhlas, RSI) is the official international broadcasting station of Slovakia.
Radio Slovakia International was created in 1993, almost simultaneously with the emergence of independent Slovakia, its duty being to give other countries information about the new state and to keep contact with the numerous expatriate communities. Organizationally, it is a relatively autonomous unit within the Slovak Radio.
Its programmes are broadcast in English, German, French, Russian and in Slovak for expatriates. The 30-minutes magazines broadcast daily contain news from Slovakia, features on Slovak economy, sciences, culture, geography, environment, sports, examples of verbal and musical arts and portraits of important personalities.
Radio Slovakia International broadcasts worldwide on SW, satellites and Internet.
