"Radio/Video" is an airplay only single from the album Mezmerize by System of a Down. It refers to the promotion of bands and songs through radio and television. It is unknown whether System of a Down endorses the practice of promotion or not. It is also rumored concerning the song's origin, that Daron Malakian walked into a department store which was playing System of a Down on the PA system. The band's influence of Armenian folk music really shines through on this song. Danny and Lisa, who are constantly referred to in the song, are two of Daron Malakian's childhood friends whom he hasn't seen since he was ten years old.[1].
The song alternates between intense, dissonant refrains and melodic, syncopated verses. Both use complicated vocal harmonies from Tankian and Malakian. The bridge verse, which accelerates into an apocalyptic crescendo, uses a catchy Caribbean beat and features a simple guitar solo, the unusual beat and crescendo are unusual features in System songs. The ending section is a longer, more intense version of the in-verse refrain. The song is written in the key of F# minor.

In the July 2005 issue of Guitar World, Daron stated that "Radio/Video" was about his fifth birthday party at a So-Cal Shakey's Pizza place, contrasted with a "bittersweet image" of himself on the radio later on in his life.
