Ralph Andrews is a television producer best known for producing the hit 60's game show You Don't Say!, the 70's game show, Celebrity Sweepstakes, and the original 1987 version of Lingo. He also produced Liar's Club and 50 Grand Slam in the 70's, as well as I'll Bet in 1965, and its revival which had a healthy four year run in 1969 called It's Your Bet. One of his final productions was a syndicated game show called Yahtzee. Halfway through the season of Lingo, Michael Reagan had to take a leave of absence to promote his new book, and Ralph himself hosted for the final few weeks of its run. It was after 1988 that his production company went bankrupt, which meant that many winners on Lingo (And another game show he produced, Yahtzee,) were never paid.
Ralph has also had his hand in directing and producing motion pictures, directing the film Silent Treatment in 1968 and was the executive producer of the film Wild in the Sky in 1972.
