Rathmichael

Rathmichael is a suburb in the south-east of Dublin in the county of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown. It situated west of Shankill from which it is separated by M50/M11 motorways.
Rathmichael is an affluent suburb, characterised by extensive tracts of low density dwellings, large houses with large gardens interspersed with open areas. It rises to the west towards the hill of Carrickgollogan in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. The area is overlooked by the chimney of the disused leadmines and the ruins of Pucks Castle on the northern flank of Carrickgallogan
