Talk:Raymond Price (con man)

[edit] Raymond Price
This is not a fictional character but a fraudulent one. JPF 15:40, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
- Not sure what you're saying. Either he's real or he's not. The article certainly seems to imply that he's a fictional character. In general I have no idea you mean by calling him a "fraudulent character". Is the article a fraud? If so, then it should be put up for deletion. If not, and the article needs to stay, then we need to figure out how to categorize it. Articles really should be categorized, not left orphans. If the article is not fraudulent, then we are back to either the guy is real, in which case he should go in one of the people categories, or he's not real/fictional. If he somehow fits into a 3rd category, please explain so we can better figure out how to categorize him. - TexasAndroid 16:04, 17 January 2006 (UTC)

- Just to clarify, this artcle refers to a real person who calls himself Raymond Price. His real name is unknown. He operates as a conman with a specific modus operandi. JPF 20:14, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
- So does Category:Confidence tricksters sound right to you then? - TexasAndroid 20:41, 17 January 2006 (UTC)

- In the Join Me book I believe that the people who met Mr Price saw his driving license. I think that in all likelihood that's his real name. Bgh251f2 20:24, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
