Red (Norway)

Red (Bokmål: Rødt, Nynorsk: Raudt, Northern Sami: Ruoksat) is the name of a socialist political party in Norway, founded 11 March 2007.
It is the result of a fusion between the Workers' Communist Party and the Red Electoral Alliance.
The leader of Red is Torstein Dahle, previously leader of the Red Electoral Alliance.
Due to Norwegian election laws the party will stand as Red Electoral Alliance for the 2007 local elections.
