The word redeem means to make someone whole.

Sharing Christ's love with the greatest number of people. This is our mission. We are very active in worship, service, education and fellowship - but the best way for you to get know the people of Redeemer is to visit.

Our services at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. Sunday use the traditional Lutheran liturgy and are accompanied by organ and choir. We celebrate Holy Communion at these services on the first and third Sunday of each month.
Our contemporary service at 9:45 a.m. Sunday offers a less formal worship alternative where we make a joyful noise to the Lord with band accompaniment. We celebrate Holy Communion at this service every week.
A new Sacred Jazz service is planned for Saturdays at 5:00pm starting in March 2007.

Redeemer celebrated its 50th anniversary in October 2006 but continues to grow and change. In an attempt to fulfill our mission Redeemer reaches out through - gymnasium times that are open to the community, - sharing our facilities with the Finnish church, - hosting various events for a Buddhist group from Tibet - many service projects and social ministry programs
