[edit] Tropical North Queensland
To my understanding, the "tropical north Queensland region" includes the whole area of the state above the tropic of capricorn, certainly, this is the area that is within the globally defined "topics". To say that this is another name for the far north region is misleading. see: [1] for a definition of "tropical". using this definition, the Tropical north queensland area covers almost half of the state from around Rockhampton north.Alpha k9 03:45, 8 April 2006 (UTC)Alpha K9Alpha k9 03:45, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
