in the Islamic part, (Islam is represented by such trends as Shi'ism, Sunnism and Shafi'ism in Azerbaijan.) The term "Sunnism and Shafi'ism" is wrong as long as Shafi'ism is a branch of Sunnism so "Shi'ism & Sunnism" would be enough. --212.24.224.18 03:11, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blatant POV
The section on tolerance of religion is not only overly long for a Wikipedia article but contains blatantly biased statements, such as references to "irreconcilable Armenians" and calling Azeris "our compatriots." Please note that Wikipedia and its articles are for an international audience, not the citizens of any single country. In addition, no statement at all in the section is backed up with a source of any description. The 2004 U.S. state report on human rights in Azerbaijan noted several abuses of religious freedom, including harassment of both Christians and Muslims, which is at odds with the description given in this article. -- Augustgrahl 17:08, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
