[edit] Pendine
Hi. I thought Pendine was earlier than 1980 but I wasn't sure. I live in Glascoed so I'm more of an expert of that. Nice to see someone nearby! Marbles333 17:50, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Stone Roses in Northop
Cheers for that :) if you've got the book handy, could you stick a reference link on the page? The farmhouse in Ewloe I know, my friend's dad used to work there when the Super Furry Animals recorded there back in the day too :) Richsage 17:23, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
I think it is in the chapter about 1991 or 1992. User: Reni's Drums 09.27 7th January 2006
- I've added a reference to the book you mentioned (found it in the library in work!), as I found the Ewloe reference for the studios, however the book makes no mention anywhere of the Wepre Park waterfall at the start of the album; have labelled the sentence on the Connah's Quay page as requiring a ref, but it'd be great if you could possibly find out some more details if that's possible! :) Cheers, Richsage 03:49, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
I was reliably informed by several locals of Connah's Quay, including one who is well clued up on the Madchester scene, that the Roses recorded the sounds of the River Wepre while in Ewloe in 1991-92. I don't know whether that is a good enough reference though User:Reni's Drums 15.25 13th January 2007
