Resolute Bay

Resolute Bay is a small bay located on the southern side of Cornwallis Island, Nunavut. The community of Resolute is located on the northern shore of the bay.
On the western shore, at , the Defence Research Telecommunications Establishment (DRTE) and the Communications Research Centre[1] operated a launch site for sounding rockets. Between 1966 and 1971 rockets of the types Black Brant and Boosted Arcas were launched[2].
Resolute Bay Airport is located to the northwest.
