Wryn was born in Los Angeles, California, the younger sister of Connor Dylan Wryn and Hunter Ansley Wryn. She was named after the song "Rhiannon (Will You Ever Win)".[1]

Her first leading role is in The Last Mimzy, scheduled to open on March 23, 2007. Wryn could not yet read during filming of The Last Mimzy, and thus the script had to be read to her so she could memorize it.[2]
