Rhydyfelin

Rhydyfelin is a common place-name in Wales, the most notable being a village near Pontypridd. Rhydyfelin is located near the Rhondda Valley which is known for its coal mining. It is also known as Rhydfelen, which means 'Yellow ford' in the Welsh language, while Rhydyfelin means 'Mill ford'.
Rhydyfelin is the home town of the band Lostprophets.
It is also home to local celebrity Daniel Flaherty who walked 14,000 miles for charity.
