"Rhythm of the Rain" is a song performed by The Cascades, released in November 1962. It was written by John Claude Gummoe (of the Cascades). It rose to #3 on the US pop charts in early 1963, and became a major hit in over 80 countries.
It has been covered by dozens of artists, including Johnny Rivers, Jan and Dean, Gary Lewis & the Playboys, Neil Sedaka, and Dan Fogelberg.
