Richard Sterban

Richard Sterban, from Camden, NJ, joined The Oak Ridge Boys in 1972. Prior to joining The Oak Ridge Boys, Sterban had been touring with J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet who were singing backup for Elvis Presley. Sterban is best known for his bass voice, most notably heard singing the "Oom papa Oom papa mow mow" on The Oaks' signature song, Elvira. Sterban lives in Hendersonville, TN with his wife, Donna.
