Rick Burgess (politician)

Rick Burgess (born May 9, 1950 in Barrie, Ontario) is a Canadian politician. He ran for mayor of Burlington, Ontario in 2006, finishing third behind the victor, former Burlington Member of Provincial Parliament Cam Jackson and the runner-up, former Burlington City Councillor Joan Lougheed. He is a lawyer and former Chair of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce. Burgess attended the University of Western Ontario's Ivey School of Business and University of Toronto law school.
