Richard Thomas Devin (known as Rick Devin) (born July 5, 1960) in Braintree, Massachusetts, USA is a successful American guitarist and singer/songwriter who has been performing acoustic based folk/rock and country/western for over 25 years. Early bands with which Devin was a founding member include: "The Three D's", "Mountain Madness", "The Greenbroke Band", and "The Eagle River Band".
His dedication to the preservation of Cowboy Music was seen strongly in his first six albums, earning him seven Nominations in the 2004 Academy of Western Artists Awards 1. Having been influenced by Folk rock music of the 1960s, Devin stated in a recent interview, "...I've gone back to my musical roots with my two latest albums, which focus more toward the Folk rock hits of the 60s and 70s...".
