Rick Lanz

Rick Lanz (born September 16, 1961 in Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad), Czechoslovakia) is a former professional ice hockey player.
Lanz's family immigrated to Canada as a small boy and he played junior hockey with the Oshawa Generals, and was selected seventh overall in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. He played the majority of his career with the Vancouver Canucks and Toronto Maple Leafs, and also played one game for the Chicago Blackhawks. He retired in 1993. Since retiring, he served briefly as the head coach of the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League, and he is currently the head coach of the Burnaby Express of the BCHL.
