Oh, and here's a new word! "12-9ys". I originally wrote the word and the definition, so here goes: 12-9ys: To die by jumping in front of an oncoming train. Comes from a combination of New York City subway code for "person under train" (12-9) and shorthand for "yourself" ("12-9 yourself"). Suggestion of how a person "ought to be killed" when one is annoyed with the other person. Similar in meaning to DIAF and DIAT. In other words: "shut up". Example: "Shut up, DIAF, and 12-9ys, moron. You have flamed enough for the both of us!"

[edit] Personal idea for classification of worlds

It would be more useful to classify worlds as follows:

Icy or rocky planets are objects which are icy or rocky, with little atmosphere, and round due to gravity, whether they orbit a planet, star, or nothing. This would include Pluto, Charon, Ceres, Mercury, the Moon, Xena, and Sedna, as well as other similar bodies.

Terrestial planets are objects which are round due to gravity, rocky or icy, and in possession of a substantial atmosphere and/or oceanic surface. Please notice that, under my definition, round moons are planets, because the orbital mechanics of a world are not necessarily as important as other characteristics of the world in question. This is what happens when you leave it up to astronomers to define objects in the sky - they get wrapped up in orbital mechanics. What about what's in the ground or the air? This would include Earth, Mars, (perhaps) Europa, Venus, Titan, etc.

Gaseous planets are the gas giants, such as Jupiter, Saturn, and several of the planets discovered looping around nearby stars.

Brown dwarfs are not stars, because they don't rely much on the basic fusion energies that bodies such as red dwarfs and yellow dwarfs and giants do, and never did. They aren't planets, either, because of deutrium burning and much production of their own energy. They are an intermediate category. White dwarfs, black dwarfs, black holes, and neutron stars are stars or will be stars (black dwarfs aren't supposed to exist yet) because of their past fusion activities.

Asteroids are rocky, irregularly shaped objects.

Comets are icy, irregularly shaped objects.

Moons are planets, asteroids, or comets in orbit of another planet, asteroid, or comet; I'm willing to extend this definition to any object orbiting another object, including Earth. Thus, Earth would be a moon of the Sun, while the Moon is a moon of the Earth, and Pluto and Charon are moons of each other. It would be a simple definition, reducing the essence of "moonness" to one characteristic: it has to orbit something.

Classical planets would be the nine worlds considered to be planets for most of the twentieth century. Proto-classical planets would include the worlds discovered by the ancients.

I disagree with whatever rubbish the IAU is trying to scribble as the definition of a "planet", on the ground that their attempt at defining "planet" is overly complex and problematic, as well as that people ought to have freedom to define the term "planet".

Oh yeah, and we ought to take the ten largest known worlds in our solar system and put them in a category entitled Ten Largest Planets. — Rickyrab | Talk 18:26, 23 August 2006 (UTC) (relocation from Talk:2006 redefinition of planet: — Rickyrab | Talk 15:00, 24 August 2006 (UTC))
