Rigadoon Gang

The Rigadoon Gang is a series of 70 cm tall puppets with yarn hair. These dolls came with size 18 month children's clothes. The puppets can be animated with two hands: one hand goes into the back of the head to move the mouth; the other slides into the finger-hold on the back of either hand.

The original puppets were copyrighted Fizgig 1988 and were sold by Kidz Biz Pty and by Hasbro Inc. There were four boys in the original Rigadoon Gang: Joe (red-headed leader of the gang), Miami-Mike (black hair), Dan (brown), Score-board (sandy); and three girls: Rusty (brown), Alexis (sandy), Priscilla (blonde).

Later versions with the same trademark added new characters and embroidered a "Real Rigadoon" mark on the left hand. The original seven Rigadoon characters can be found with and without this added mark. A further variation in 1994 was a larger mark covering the finger-hold.
