I joined in January 2006 and started editing a lot. I find that it is pretty addictive. I'm interested in lots of things and came to Wikipedia as a longtime reader, but now I spend most of my WP time actively editing.
One of my favorite things to do is add or correct interwiki links, as I think it is valuable to all of the wikipedias in different languages.
I also work frequently on missing encyclopedia articles lists, and regularly update the lists from the de, fr and es wikipedias. Sometimes I also work on the ridiculously long music encyclopedia topics lists.
Besides that, I often add new articles that are interesting from books I am reading. I'm especially interested in geography, history, music, languages, and peoples of the world, especially Indonesia and Oceania, which seems to fall victim to systemic bias. A particular interest of mine is the gamelan.
On the list of Wikipedians by number of edits on February 9, 2007, I was #1676 with 7,441 edits. So far I've written ten articles featured in DYK.
