Star Wars Republic: Rite of Passage is a four-part story arc in the Star Wars: Republic series of comic books written by John Ostrander. The first issue was published on 15 March 2002 by Dark Horse Comics. The series is set in the Star Wars galaxy four after the events in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and 28 years before the Battle of Yavin in Episode IV: A New Hope
