The Guambo recently received their 10th Ivy league Champion Title within the New York City Private High Schools. As winning 10 title, I believe this group is significant and deserves its own wikipedia page. Please give us a few days to expand this article to show the importance. As one of the Best Swim Teams in NYC, i believe it deserves its own page. Thanks.

Ten championships is a lot, and certainly worthy of praise. The Riverdale Guambo as an institution has existed for around 30 years (most of that time it was a co-ed team, and so any championships won then do not count towards the ten co-ed championships). In fact if you count combined Men's Swimming and Women's Swimming championships it has well over ten championships. Similarly, to everyone who is familiar with New York City high school swimming the Guambo are familiar, and they have become sort of famous in their own special way.

The Guambo are the leading force behind the Ivy League. Coming from a 4-2 season to win the entire league beating a team which was 6-0. Also the mythical lure behind the Guambo eludes everyone who hears it. Everyone wants to know what a Guambo is. Its a duck by the way.
