Robert "Eddy Spaghetti" Scuderi (born December 30, 1978 in Syosset, New York) is an American professional ice hockey player, currently plays defense for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL.
Scuderi was drafted in the 5th round, 134th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
Scuderi is frequently referred to as the "Minister of Defense"[citation needed] for his uncanny ability to play defense, and use his stick to direct wayward pucks often times into his own net. Still, Scuderi is praised for his solid penalty killing and constant hard work on the ice. Rob is also respected for his humbleness and ability to play sensational defense.
In a game versus the New Jersey Devils on February 16, 2007, Scuderi scored his first goal in nearly two years in the fifth minute of play in the first period. The Penguins won the game 5-4.
