Robert 'Bob' Rogers

Lieutenant-General Robert 'Bob Rogers SSA SM MMM DSO DFC (1921-2000) was a South African military commander. He joined the South African Air Force in 1940, and served in World War II and the Korean War.
He was Chief of the Air Force from 1975 to 1979. Lt Gen Rogers was the most-decorated South African serviceman, with more than two dozen South African, British, South Korean, and other orders, decorations, and medals on his tunic.
