Robert Alexander (born 24 September 1910 in Belfast; died 19 July 1943 in Sicily) was an Irish cricket and Rugby Union player. He died on active service in the Second World War.

Alexander was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium bowler. He played once for Ireland, a first-class match against Scotland in 1932.

Alexander played many more times as a Rugby Union international, playing 11 times for Ireland and three times for the British Lions on their tour to South Africa in 1938.
