Robert (Bob) James Tizard (born 1924) is a former Labour politician from New Zealand, former Deputy Prime Minister of New Zealand and Minister of Finance.

Tizard was a member of Parliament from 1957 - 1960, and then from 1963 - 1990. He was member of Parliament for Panmure.

Tizard was formerly married to Dame Catherine Tizard, Mayor of Auckland 1983 - 1990 and Governor-General of New Zealand 1990 - 1996 (they divorced in 1980), and is the father of current Cabinet minister Judith Tizard. Judith replaced her father as the member of Parliament for Panmure.
