Robert Wuthnow

Robert Wuthnow is a sociologist at the Princeton University, where he is the Andlinger Professor of Sociology and Director of Center for the Study of Religion. He is the author of several academic books and articles. He teaches and researches sociology of religion and cultural sociology, employing both quantitative and qualitative (historical and ethnographic) research methods.
He has a PhD from University of California, Berkeley.
His most known books include:

- Growing Up Religious: Christians and Jews and Their Journeys of Faith
- Acts of Compassion: Caring for Others and Helping Ourselves (Pulitzer Prize nomination).
- Sharing the journey: support groups and America's new quest for community
