[edit] History
[edit] Rival Schools
When Gorin High was the victim of a rash of kidnappings, Roberto volunteered to help find out the cause behind it. However, he was also reluctantly thrust into the role of mediator between his classmates, Shoma and Natsu. When Shoma is later kidnapped by teachers of Justice High School, Roberto and Natsu set out to rescue him. In battling with the mastermind behind all the events, Hyo Imawano, Roberto injures his arm, almost costing him his promising soccer career. However, he eventually adapts himself to playing forward and is able to switch between that position and his previous position of goalkeeper.
[edit] Project Justice
A year later, Roberto is once again a mediator to Shoma and Natsu's arguments, this time centering around what to do with new student Momo Karuizawa. Eventually, Shoma leaves with Momo to investigate by themselves, with Roberto joining Natsu and Gorin University student Nagare Namikawa in their own investigation. After the incidents, with the friends patching up their differences, Roberto joined Nagare in commenting on the odd love triangle between Shoma, Natsu and Momo.
