Talk:Robin McKinley
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Just wondering what attention this page still needs that the tag's been added. It's certainly not a candidate for page of the day, but it's an organized page with some biographical and bibligraphical information, some highlights, and cited sources. Is there something I'm missing which merits the attention tag here? Deborah-jl 23:25, 27 Feb 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Attention points
The article sounded interesting and then seemed to run straight out of puff after about 4 lines - just leaving a lot of bullet point/listy type stuff. I'm sure there's a lot of interesting stuff to be added - and I would like to read it: It just doesn't tell enough at present in any sort of depth. Not being a subject I know anything about - I can't add anything myself. Kind regards Brookie 16:11, 28 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- It's a tough call. She's an author and has written some interesting books, but most of this information is from her own puff-piece autobiographical statements. I suppose I can bulk it up with 'Contemporary Authors' biographical information, but she actually isn't all that interesting as a person wiki-wise; her main importance is that she has written some important award-winning books. She's not even controversial, sadly. Deborah-jl 05:27, 1 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Missing informaion
I beleive Robin McKinley wrote an article in opposition to fanfiction. This should probably be cited, or at least noted, here. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 167.92.115.10 (talk) 17:51, 5 March 2007 (UTC).
- oops, my bad, it was Robin Hobb.
