Rod Tyler
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rod Tyler is the former vocalist of American progressive metal band Symphony X, and power metal band Overlorde. He joined Overlorde briefly in 1988 under his real name, Rod Tyler Loiza, and left shortly in the same year. In 1994 he was recruited by Michael Romeo as the first vocalist for Symphony X. Tyler recorded vocals on the band's debut album Symphony X (1994). For Symphony X's second album The Damnation Game (1995), Tyler has been replaced by Russell Allen, after an alleged falling out between Tyler and the rest of the band[citation needed]. Allen has remained the band's singer ever since.
