Rohit Gupta

ROHIT IS A TWAT Rohit Gupta (born April 9, 1976) is a polymath, writer and inventor based in Bombay, India. His fiction and non-fiction has been published widely in journals since 2000. He is also the winner of the E-author 1.0 Award. For some years he was a known newspaper columnist, but then withdrew from mass media due to his ideological leanings.
During the December 2004 tsunami, Gupta was in the news after publishing on a blog the SMS text messages sent by some friends in Sri Lanka, which proved to be critical information. He designed a system known as ARC for automated reception and delivery of SMS messages in disaster situations. OrganicPoetry is one of the games he invented as part of his AlgoMantra philosophy, which deals with "Networked Kreeda", "Ludic Raga" & "Tantric Kulture".
India's only known practitioner of psychogeography, Gupta is featured as one of the judges for the 2007 Lulu Blooker Prize.
